How to find 5 fascinating Instagrammable Scottish places
The 5 most Instagrammable Valentines day places in Scotland
1. The Craigievar Castle #Craigievarcastle
Fall in love with history with your Valentine's date by your side and explore the iconic castle where some of history's interesting characters lived and also loved.
2. The holy Isle on Isle of Arran #Arran
The magical sunrise at the Isle of Arran is beautiful and definitely worth it to get up early and see it with your own eyes. There is no filter needed and it is amazing to start the day with your Valentine in a romantic way.
3. Any beach where you could watch the sunrise or sunset in Scotland #sunrise #sunset
The photo that I have included contains a beautiful sunrise from the other part of the Isle of Arran but this is not the only place within Scotland where you could see the sunrise. It is always magical to see the sunrise or sunset on a mildly cloudy or with a clear sky. The beautiful orange, red and pink colours make the start or end of your day hopefully amazing.
The Isle of Skye is on my to-do list and will be fulfilled at the end of February. Until then we can look at the amazing pictures of other travellers and let yourself and your valentine be romantically inspired by the amazing views that the Isle of Skye provides. This places is called the 'Fairy Glen' and is just completely enchanting. Some say fairies created the dramatic landscape with the natural rocks but you can decide for yourself.
5. Explore the Scottish borders #drumelzier #scottishborders
What also is great to do is to drive an hour away from Edinburgh and go for a hike in the Scottish Borders. It is not the same as the Highlands but easily manageable to do for a 1 day trip from Edinburgh and great with your Valentine. It is always amazing to be up in the clouds, admiring the views and be surrounded with your significant other or just your amazing friends.
The places shown are some of my favourite places in Scotland that can be visited and is only the start of an incredibly long list. There are so many hidden places that can be found, and this is a list to help you get romantically or just inspired that you want to visit Scotland. I am currently living for almost six months in Scotland and time literally flies by. There is still so much to see and cannot wait to see, discover and explore Isle of Skye at the end of February. It is literally enchanted the Isle of Skye.
Bonus: A hot weather forecast on Valentine's day in the UK
Fun fact: It is expected that on Valentine’s day it will be the warmest day of 2019 in the UK. It will be in some parts of Britain around 16C and that is twice the average for the usual time of the year. Temperature is on the rise and things are heating up! I hope everyone has a great day and if you have any recommendations to spend your Valentine’s day on one of these mentioned places or another amazing place in Scotland, leave a comment down below.
